Directions
From South West: Leave the M5 at junction 20 towards Clevedon. Take the 3rd exit at the next roundabout. At the mini-roundabout turn right. Go under the motorway and through the village of Tickenham. Once into the open countryside, take the first turning on the right into a narrow lane called Wahing Pound Lane (signposted to Tickenham Church). Follow this road around to the right past the church, across the moors into Nailsea. Turn right at the crossroads. Fir Tree Farm is 200 metres on the left surrounded by high stone walls.
From North and East: Leave the M5 at juntion 19, signposted: Services, Royal Portbury Dock etc. Stay in the middle lane as you approach the roundabout. Take the second exit towards Bristol. (The first exit is the Services). Then almost immediately turn right signposted to Portbury. After 1/4 mile in the village of Portbury, turn right as the road bends sharply left. After a further 200 yards bear left as the road bends sharply right. Follow the road for 1/2 mile passing the rugby club on the right. Turn left into Caswell Hill just before the road goes under the motorway bridge. Follow this lane for about a mile uphill. Turn left at the top. After a 1/4 mile bear right into Cuckoo Lane as the road bends round to the left.
At the end of the road turn right. Continue down the long hill through Tickenhan until you come to another T junction. Turn right towards Clevedon. Pass the Star Inn, and shortly after, take the small lane straight ahead of you as the road bends to the right. At the end of the lane, turn left at the T junction in front of the church. Follow this road across the moors and past the new housing. Turn right at the crossroads. Fir Tree Farm is 200 metres on the left surrounded by high stone walls.
